Molas are hand-made textiles that make up an important part of the traditional clothing of Guna women, native to Panama and Colombia. They are made using appliqué and reverse appliqué techniques, which involves layering and cutting cloth to create designs. The geometric designs depict the flora and fauna of the land of the Guna people.
