Dreamcatchers
Dreamcatchers originated in the Great Lakes region, handcrafted by the Ojibwe to protect the infants and people of their tribes. Its design reflects that of a spiderweb and represents Asibikaashi, an important mythological figure in indigenous North American cultures. It catches any danger in the area, much like a spider's web. The dreamcatcher has since spread across the Americas, from its roots in the Great Lakes to as far south as Chile.
